Limited Term Position (1 semester)
This position will report directly to the Nursing Coordinator and provide instruction with an emphasis on medical/surgical nursing, including lecture, laboratory, and clinical. The Associate Degree Nursing Instructor will maintain standards of achievement in courses that are equal to those in parallel courses and necessary to meet the demands of the occupations for which they are preparing students. Instruction will be at the Janesville Central Campus, but may be assigned some duties at the Monroe Campus based on need.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent direct care experince as an RN required; two (2) years teaching experince (full-time or part-time) in nursing preferred. Experience with on line course delivery and/or other instructional technology is a plus. Additional requirements: Willingness to comply with annual health screening requirements, current or eligible for Wisconsin license to practice as an RN (must be licesed by the beginning of employment), CPR certification, willingness to teach in any area of nursing assigned, have a valid driver's license and proof of automobile liability isurance. In addition, must meet Wisconsin Technical College System certification requirememts and be willing to maintain such certification.
